The World's Smallest, Street-Legal Car Will Fit In An Average Car Boot
Say hello to Austin Coulson's self-built creation. Incredibly, it's just been confirmed as the world's smallest, street-legal car by the Guiness World Records 2014.
Measuring a diminutive 63.5cm high, 65.41cm wide and 126.47cm long (small enough to fit in a car boot), it's restricted to use on public roads with a speed limit of 25mph, which means that it's not really the most 'street-legal' street-legal car you can drive.
Nevertheless, it's got all the hallmarks of the cars you and I hoon about in on a daily basis. These include number plates, indicators, lights, windscreen wipers, a seatbelt and a working horn.
Power comes courtesy of a kid's quad bike engine, giving the world's smallest car a top speed of a dizzying 33mph. Here it is in action.
