Video footage of Fernando Alonso spanking Ferrari's £1,040,000 LaFerrari hypercar has been released on Ferrari's YouTube channel.
Why is this important? Not only is this a big deal because of the man behind the wheel, this is also the first time we've seen the LaFerrari (albeit a prototype) driven on the limit. From the cabin, we see just how direct the LF's steering is and how immediate the gear changes are. Watching Alonso in action is also a tasty treat, but by no means the main course here; the show is stolen by that V12 noise and spectacular cornering speed.
