Before high speed crash...

The crash happened in Mexico on the national highway in Nuevo Laredo while the car was its way to Monterrey.

Witnesses said it was speeding up the central reservation when it crashed, and performed several somersaults before coming to a stop.

Two men are in hospital with injuries. My Spanish isn’t so good but I’m going to guess they are pretty serious. Looking at that, it’s incredible that they survived.

Monterrey*, i live there, the awesome thing is that our city is very insecure and is very common that “narcos” steal “nice” cars and more specially on that highway. Don’t be deceived by our appearance, were very friendly!

The summary of the article is that two men, one of whom is the previous ceo of Tabasco, was on route to a convention. Reports say he was traveling at excessive speed, hit the median that resulted in the car going airborne and rolling several times. Serious injuries occurred, though their current health state is unknown.

I’m from Mexico, so the local news said that the two passengers were injured but not badly, in fact there where standing next to the wreck with some blood on the shirt and bruises. The car was insured for 33 million pesos, something like 1.5 million pounds. Btw the city is called Monterrey not Monteray.
