Tulisa's New (Purple) Audi R8 Spyder

With Tulisa's first solo single recently hitting the number one spot in the charts, it was only a matter of time before she treated herself to a fresh set of wheels. Last we heard she had just splashed the N-Dubz cash on a Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder in Brilliant White but now she has been seen this week in it's sister car, the Audi R8 Spyder. There's one slight problem with it though.

Instead of the usual gunmetal grey, classy white paint job, or the menacing matte black stuff you usually see on R8s, someone at Audi must have shown their latest customer the 'exclusive' range of paint jobs you can get for the company's supercar where you can find a couple of shades of purple. That would probably affect the resale value of this £96,625 V8 model, although she's a wealthy diva, so she wouldn't really care.

Like the hard-top, the Audi R8 Spyder is available with a choice of two engines. There's the 4.2-litre V8 (which is what Tulisa's car has judging by those alloys) similar to the RS4 and RS5 which produces 424hp giving it a 0-62mph time of 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 186mph. What I'd rather have though is the 5.2-litre V10 which has 518hp giving it a 0-62mph time of 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 194mph.

Other famous faces associated with the Audi R8 include One Direction's Harry Styles and High School Musical star Zac Efron. Thankfully, they haven't been as idiotic with paint job colour - must be a "Female Boss" thing.
