Bentley is hard at work on the next-generation of its hot-selling Continental GT line. The GTC and GTC Speed now are getting an edition dubbed quite simply 80-11.
There was a lot of thought placed into that name sarcasm alert. The designation refers to the amount of vehicles, 80, and the model year, 2011. Simple isn't it? It. The changes are few, and purely cosmetic.
They include a new set of 20-inch, 14-spoke alloy diamond wheels, with black center caps. The look is quite striking when paired with the unique Midnight color scheme exclusive to the 80-11 models.
Moving up to the performance Speed model, the wheels are of the Supersports variety, finished in a dark tint working in concert with red brake calipers.
To top off the exterior changes, Union Jack brightware badges are featured on the front fenders. Inside follows the wll-worn pattern for special editions, with treadplates and center console badges featuring "80-11 Edition" badging.
Also, the 80-11 cars get piano black trim and an aluminum dash with a bright finish in the GTC and a dark finish in the Speed.
Beluga leather features, with Bentley emblems, contrast stitching and piping in white for the GTC and in Pillar Box Red for the GTC Speed. Drilled aluminum pedals are also standard on both vehicles.
