Paris 2010: Porsche 911 Carrera GTS
Can there ever be too many models of the Porsche 911? Apparently not. The 911 has seen many iterations, with the top-shelf performance model being the GT3.
For those who want something that slots in between the Carrera S and the GT3, the GTS is for you.

There is no doubt the GT3 is a hardcore performance model - it isn't for everyone. The GTS turn things up a notch in performance and looks over the Carrera S.
The changes start with the exterior, with the GTS gaining beefier bodywork courtesy of the all-wheel drive Carrera 4. It also gets SportDesign front and rear fascias 19-inch RS Spyder wheels to round off the changes.
The Carrera GTS is placed right in the middle of the Carrera S,at 385 hp and the GT3, at 435 hp. In the GTS, the 3.8-liter six-cylinder has an increased power output, producing 408 horsepower.
It also makes 310 pound-feet of torque, with peak delivery at at 4,200 rpm – 200 rpm lower than the Carrera S. A six-speed manual is standard, with the Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK). Yes, in case you haven't noticed, we like saying that.
The GTS goes on sale next year, with pricing already announced - checking in at $103,100 for the coupe and $112,900 for the cabriolet.
