Panoz Releases Teaser of New Model

These days, it is rare to see a small independent company thrive and be successful. Panoz has defied that usual conclusion, being in existence for almost 20 years. It currently sells the Esperante, as well as providing development services for other manufacturers.

These days, it is rare to see a small independent company thrive and be successful. Panoz has defied that usual conclusion, being in existence for almost 20 years. It currently sells the Esperante, as well as providing development services for other manufacturers.

Now it is preparing to introduce a new model, dubbed the Abruzzi ‘Spirit of Le Mans’. In keeping with that name, the car is set to be unveiled completely at the 24 Hours of Le Mans race in France next month.

Panoz, an active company in motorsports, won the GT2 class of the race in 2006. Ahead of the unveiling, the company released this new teaser image.

The new car will be technologically advanced, debuting new technologies like “REAMS”® - which stands for Recyclable Energy Absorbing Matrix System. Panoz says it "offers unprecedented environmental, performance and structural advantages."

There is also a new cooling technology dubbed "Trifecta Cooling" and an extensive use of LED lighting. We like what we see - the Abruzzi looks to be a complete different direction for Panoz in comparison to the Esperante.
