This Might Be The Fastest GT86 In The World Thanks To An Insane 5-Second Quarter Mile Run

The GT86 is often criticised for being a bit slow. No such problem here. This 2JZ-swapped Toyota runs an incredible 5.774sec quarter mile at 247mph, making it 'the fastest import in the world!'

There’s nothing left of it except for a body that has been extended and some taillights.
Come back when it’s a street legal car with a tuned engine and suspension, then it’s a GT86.

Why do everyone always have to point out how little is left of the original car? Good luck making a 5 second anything using stock parts. This car was built to be the fastest japanese car, it just needs to look like one and have a japanese engine. And in this case they just so happened to use a GT86 body because they wanted to.

That’s a amazing, but i’m curious how much bhp the original engine can produce if it maxxed out? Is there a tuning company that interested in maximizing the original engine of GT86?

but a 2j in a GT86 and run 5.7 and “duh, it’s not a gt86 anymore”
but a twin turbo built ls7 with nitrous in an old chevy or a coyote in a ford and ‘f*ck yeah, “car name” all day’
