This Lorry Ploughed Into Five Cars After Its Driver Fell Asleep At The Wheel
Police have revealed footage of a terrifying accident from last year, in which a lorry smashed into five cars - causing serious injuries
This horrific accident happened on 21 May 2015 in Warwickshire on the A46. The driver of the lorry - 54-year-old Martin Gibson - had fallen asleep at the wheel, and the force of his vehicle slamming into the cars caused multiple serious injuries, some life changing. He’s currently serving a 15 month prison sentence.
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.
