Clarkson has once again blasted the BBC, calling them out for a lack of support when he was at the helm of Top Gear, and the way The Corporation reacted to his work.

During a part of the interview with BBC News not shown in the video above, Clarkson also criticised the direction of Top Gear following his departure. “You look at the TV show, you read all the credits, you’ll see the cameraman, the sound recordist… You find me one where it says ‘written by’. They just cobble it together,” he said.

The 56-year-old will be back on our screens on 18 November with cohorts Richard Hammond and James May when The Grand Tour kicks off.

The problem is that Jeremy James and Richard WERE Top Gear. Without them it is nothing…

Some say that he heard the BBC wanted to do more Top Gear…
Some say he’s running for the border…
All we know is he’s called the STIG!!

I used to dislike the new Top Gear, but after going through the whole episode, I found it to be rather good. I can say it is a very good car show, and the biggest problem is that it is called the “Top Gear”

Up until then… he did such a good job of towing the line and not say anything about new-new Top Gear.

Bottom line, the BBC is government funded and the tories are looking for any way reason to defund it (because they can’t actually privatise it) and the independent media hates the competition… it’s held under a giant magnifying glass all the time.

For any American’s in the audience The Daily Mail is the equivalent of Fox News (except probably worse)

I figured The Daily Mail was like a tabloid essentially, at least that’s how it feels whenever I see something from them

Fox News is typically regarded as news aimed towards conservatives, and as such is widely looked down upon by many liberals who disagree.

You’re looking more toward a less extreme TMZ and other celebrity rags

I like the new Top Gear. Probably more of a fan of the new one because its actually about cars. Think it will do better without Evans though.

Jezza and Co were great together but in the end it was a bunch of old blokes pissing about which was great and all but not something I wanted from a car show. I wanted A CAR SHOW not Jezza and Co.

So I think everyone wins from tell whole scenario.
