This Idiot Driver Tries A U-Turn On A Busy Dual Carriageway And Wipes Out An S-Class
Of all the stupid things a driver can do, attempting a U-turn across two lanes of fast-moving traffic ranks pretty high. That didn't stop this Irish driver from having a go, though...
Pro tip: if you’ve gone the wrong way and need to make a U-turn, it’s probably best not to make the manoeuvre on a busy dual carriageway.
That’s exactly what the driver of this Honda Jazz tries to do on a main road in Northern Ireland, though. Inevitably it causes a big accident with the Mercedes S-Class camera car, which is powerless to avoid the bizarre attempt to turn around.
No one was seriously hurt in the crash, which is testament to how far safety systems have come, but for dangerous drivers like the one in the Honda, automation can’t come soon enough.

Im surprised the s class didnt stop itself
The Benz’s auto brake feature is somewhat rubbish as far as they come..

These safety systems are usually only able to stop the car when going less than 30-50 kmph. They are not supposed to avoid any possible accident.
He should be driving a Peugeot
I don’t want to make it perfect political but elders aren’t good drivers and make these types of mistakes. Driving in the wrong side of the motorway or pulling a U turn like so… There’s a problem with them behind the wheel
100% true, 1 year ago i was driving and then suddenly i see an elderly couple going the wrong way around a roundabout causing cars to swerve
It happens because the children are to afraid of taking the licence for fear of being rude or offending their parents.
Ambitious, But Rubbish.
I’m currently on holiday in Northern Ireland😂😂😂
just keep an eye on small Honda (or Peugeot) hatchbacks ;)
Enjoy the sun ;) 😂
Lol, just because this happened in Northern Ireland doesn’t make the driver Irish.
Who said they were?
Meanwhile in my country…
A police car make u-turn in no u-turn zone
Top gear solved this many many years ago
S-Class driver should’ve bought this, maybe the driver could “roll” away (probably)
top comment material right here ahaha
He wanted to know how to Mercedes bends.
And it turns out, it doesn’t bend very well! :)
