This Honda CR-V Skyline Is The Biggest Automotive Troll Ever

Putting the front-end of an R34 and sticking it on a 500hp CR-V is a great way to upset JDM purists

Skyline Honda CRV

Take a look at the picture above. Looks like an R34 Skyline, right? Except you’ll probably notice there’s a reasonably small, transversely-mounted engine under the bonnet, rather than the usual longitudinally-mounted six-pot. Take in the full view of the car from the shot below, however, and you’ll see that this is no Skyline…

That’s right, an R34 front-end has been tacked onto a Honda CR-V, of all things. We’re not sure whether the Osaka-based owner of this CR-V (spotted on 7tune’s Facebook page) is deliberately trolling Skyline fans, but this thing does have substance. It’s all-wheel drive, has a turbocharged 1.8-litre Honda B18C VTEC lump with 500hp, and features a wide-arch conversion.

What do you guys think of this: a heinous crime against cars, or actually pretty cool?
