Heavyweight Drag Race Features Urus, Model X, G63 And RR Sport SVR
Whenever the Tesla Model X P100D is raced against similarly-sized, internal combustion engine-powered rivals, the electric minivan-cum-SUV usually romps to victory. In this drag race from Car Wow, however, this dual-motor heavyweight is facing some stiff competition.
The favourite for giving the Tesla a bloody nose out of this trio of challengers is surely the Lamborghini Urus. Its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 serves up 641bhp and 627lb ft of torque, making 0-62mph possible in just 3.6 seconds.
The Mercedes-AMG G63 is a fair way off with 577bhp from its similarly configured engine, while the Range Rover Sport SVR isn’t far behind the German with 567bhp developed from a 5.0-litre supercharged V8.
