This Guy's Parking Was So Bad The Bomb Squad Had To Be Called
Curious that someone's abandoned a car in front our office / Bank of England... Streets are closed, lockdown on... pic.twitter.com/j7g5CzAPjM

The roads around the Bank of England and the Royal Exchange in London were closed earlier after a suspicious vehicle was abandoned in the middle of a junction.
Witnesses reported that the driver drove through a red light with his music blaring, stopped across the centre of the junction, then calmly walked towards Bank underground station.

Police were immediately called to the scene, closing roads and bringing in a bomb disposal robot to investigate the car. Once they were happy, bomb disposal cops approached the car to give it a final check.
The images of deserted Central London streets are rather haunting, but the bizarre incident appears to be under control, with the car taped off and the area opened to pedestrians.
Below are tweets from the strange incident:

Excellent parking. Car left in the middle of the road next to the Bank of England. No bomb. And it's a sunny day. pic.twitter.com/tF2MDpj8HV
