LA has a reputation for monster traffic jams, but the busy lead-up to Thanksgiving this year led to total gridlock.
The above footage was filmed by an ABC7 news helicopter earlier in the week, showing the 405 - apparently the busiest highway in the United States - at a complete standstill.
We’d hate to be in the middle of this mess, but from the air, it’s a weirdly beautiful sight…

I don’t understand how a city like that can jam up 7 lanes going BOTH ways! I live in Queens, New York and we deal with only 3 lanes going both ways.
