Personally, the ideal ride would be to not need one. Once your survival strat involves needing gasoline, you’re screwed. But, if you do need a vehicle, you’re best to have either something with good MPG’s, or to build a wood gassifier for a carbureted vehicle, like a big 1970’s Ford pickup. You can hook up pipes and make carbureted vehicles work off of either propane or gas from said wood gasifier, but you need a rather big spot for one of those, as well as someone to keep fueling the fire. (as well as stuff to burn)

Magnum SXT is incorrect. 0-60 is 9 seconds, 250hp. The figures shown are for an SE, which had a 2.7L v6 (which was crap) as opposed to an SXT which had a 3.5L v6 (which wasn’t crap). Also, handling wise, these cars aren’t as bad as Jeremy Clarkson has made everyone think (God bless him). The SXTs actually have 52/48 weight distribution and are incredibly well behaved. They aren’t Lotuses by any means, but I’d much rather be in this than a front heavy FWD anything that’ll under steer into a ditch

Now I don’t watch this show so I don’t know what has been done to these cars but Challenger can so 0-60 in the low 5s. But really? A magnum does 0-60 in 13 seconds? Come on.
