Expect Helicopter Crashes, Guns And 5-Series Product Placement In BMW's 'The Escape' Short
BMW has released another trailer for its 'The Escape' short film, featuring explosive action, a shouty Jon Bernthal and - of course - the new 'G30' 5-series
The first installment in the new series by BMW Films lands this Sunday, and unsurprisingly, it’s going to be plugging Munich’s fancy new 5-series. With the M550i not revealed yet, poor Clive Owen has to make do with ‘just’ the 540i, but hopefully its 335bhp turbo straight-six provides enough poke when he goes up against Jon Bernthal (aka Shane from The Walking Dead, who may or may not be the baddie) and his resplendent beard.
The short film also stars Dakota Fanning and Vera Farmiga, and is directed by Neil Blomkamp of District 9 and Elysium fame.
Growing up on a diet of World Rally Championship highlights and lengthy Gran Turismo 2 sessions, a life in cars was as good as inevitable for Matt.
