Devon Motor Works GTX Revealed!

Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance weekend is upon us! The Infiniti M has already had it's live event, covered by James. Now we get to look at another Pebble Beach weekend release: images of the Devon Motor Works GTX have surfaced ahead of the live unveiling tomorrow. Quite unusually, none of the embargoes on Bentley's release tomorrow have been broken! I'm glad because then it's going to be a surprise. I digress though, this is about the GTX!

Tell me that isn't cool! To me this car looks so much better then the computerized renderings of the car we've seen before - even the spy shots. It just really comes together - a lot better then I expected it to. Devon's aim is to produce an all-American supercar, and in that they definitely succeed. Just check out that flamboyant, two-tone paint job!

The founder of Devon Motor Works, Scott Devon also has commented on the car's big for "world's fastest production car" status. Here is what he had to say: "The Laguna Seca test session showed us just a glimpse of what the Devon GTX is capable of from aperformance perspective....through further validation and testing, we know this car is capable of even greater lap times and making an even stronger statement about the future of the American supercar."

As for introducing at such a high-end place like Pebble Beach? "There is no more important event in the world for cars in this class....we realize that - by introducing the Devon GTX at the Concours d'Elegance - we are asking the world's automotive elite to bless this car. With its bold design and outstanding performance characteristics, we are quite confident we will earn their approval."

As always, expect more details at the official debut - I hear the interior is going to be a real treat too. Won't be long until everything is completely official!
