Cee Lo Green's Awesome New Wheels
Remember those ten tragic replicas from last week? Well, here's one that could be dubbed as one of the best ever replicas.
Cee Lo Green (who's in a spot of bother as we speak but this isn't Heat magazine, son) was seen last week cruising around in this Auburn Speedster replica. Certainly stands out against anything built today, don't you think?
The original Speedster was built way back in the mid 1930s and featured a 4.5-litre supercharged flathead 8 that produced 125hp. It was good for a top speed of around 100mph, which in 1935 was probably as amazing as some of these record breakers of today. Unfortunately, it wasn't amazing enough way back when, as the manufacturer based in Auburn, Indiana was forced to close its doors just two years later.
Still, we like this new trend of awesome classic replicas from the early 20th C with a matte paint job to boot. Makes gold wraps and mahoosive alloys so last year!
