Cayenne Tuning Extreme: Merdad 902 Coupe
Tuners usually specialize in offering something unique and upgraded - and sometimes the wacky and outrageous, particularly at the exotic level (Mansory, anyone?).

Porsche's Cayenne certainly has seen its share of tuning. Merdad, a company based in the United Kingdom, is taking things a step beyond simple appearance tweaks to actually do significant reengineering.
While we've seen a lot of segment-bending vehicles lately, this is the first time we've seen a Cayenne called a "coupe." Two-door crossovers/SUVs are an interesting genre to say the least.
It looks pretty cool, despite being kind of pointless - but hey that's what these things are all about right? Merdad has this to say about the project: "We are very proud that this creation has brought together many British engineers and designers who have contributed to bringing this fantastic beast to the table."
In addition to a coupe model (which is expected to cost a pretty penny) Merdad will tune the standard Cayenne. Performance upgrades range from 550 to 750-horsepower. According to the company, the most powerful 750 hp model makes the 0 to 60 mph dash in just in 4.4 seconds.
Unveiling of the two SUVS will take place at the MPH The Prestige & Performance Motor Show in November, where more details will be revealed. The first show featuring Top Gear Live at Earls Court starts November 4-7th and the second one at the NEC in Birmingham on dates November 11-14th.
