Bugatti Sedan Image Leaks

The Frankfurt International Auto Show in September promises to bring a lot of exciting new releases. If everything goes to plan, many important new vehicles (like the Saab 9-5) will be making an appearance. Likely to be one of those is the rumored Bugatti sedan model.

A picture has leaked out on the internet of the rear end of the vehicle. It actually came as part of Bugatti's invitation to the anniversary celebration it is having. Of course it is still possible it could just be a succesor to the Veyron, but I'd say that's unlikely at this point. It now has a name too: Bordeaux. (Like the candy! Ha).

It is rumored to be a shooting brake - if you've seen the Bugatti concept vehicle that was produced in the 1990's under the marque's Italian ownership, you that might give you a bit of an idea of the style as applied to a Bugatti. Also, it is slated to be powered by the same outrageous W12 powerplant that resides in the Bugatti Veyron. Sports sedan? You have no idea.

See the backlight in the middle of the leaked image? According to reports there will be a split window (think 63' Corvette) and the rear brake light will form the divider. Interesting, it also sheds more light on the proportions of the Bordeaux. From what I can see in the image, it looks great. I love the taillights!
