If you want your Bimmer to stand out, the people at BMW Individual are the ones you want to look to. This division of the German car maker offers a range of swankier equipment, options and materials for the ‘discerning customer.’

As well as offering things like plusher wood and leather for your interior, Individual will also spray your car in a range of rather posh colours. Many of these will set you back a few thousand Euros, but this chrome-look ‘Pure Metal Silver’ is now by far the most expensive: it costs €8000 (£6350). Ouch.
