Audi A8 L Introduced
Audi, fresh off a record-breaking Q1 sales result that vaulted it to second place, could be taking something sort of a victory lap.
The standard Audi A8 was introduced late last year, and now they are introducing the top-shelf A8 L model.

Look any different? It looks longer, that's for sure - by nearly 1 and a half feet, coming in at 17 and a half feet. It is also motivated by a different powertrain, a 500 horsepower W12!
Normally, an engine like that would be the primary focus of a car. Not so with the A8 L though - the back seat is. Why? Because with a back seat as good as the A8 L's, that's where we would want to be spending our time.
There is a large center console dividing the cabin (with a folding table and refrigerator), as well as a standard four-zone automatic climate control system. The design and craftsmanship in this interior is simply amazing.
This is a car clearly designed for the owner to be rode around in - there are heated/cooled seats that recline, move forward and backward and allow the ability to adjust cushions, lumbar support and seat back angle.
There is a switch in the back that allows you to even move the front passengers seat forward if you want. For maximum comfort, of course, while viewing your own 10.2 inch LCD display while listening to the 1,400-watt, 19-speaker Bang & Olufsen Advanced Sound System.
No word on pricing yet, but we should hear the figures soon. The car is debuting at the Beijing Auto Show in China, where it should find a ripe market for chauffeur-driven luxury cars.
