Which one is best? Mitsubishi FTO GPX or 3000GT VR4? In terms of long-term reliability,how fun to own,fuel consumption,aftermarket support etc..

Having had 2 FTO’s and working on them quite thoroughly, I would without a doubt say that the FTO is the one to go for.
Reliability was great with both, never had anything huge go wrong, the great thing with older cars is that they are so much easier to work on too.
I used to have loads of fun with my FTO and would take it out so often just to enjoy it, no destination, just driving for fun.
Fuel consumption is not on par with modern cars, but it would still achieve about 28mpg average.
Aftermarket support isn’t huge in respects to engine tuning, but styling wise there is quite a bit you can do.
The FTO has a great owners club and have lots of meets with like minded folk,
Here is my FTO before I resprayed it white, I loved the sound and would drive with the window down all the time, even in the rain, it was addictive.
