What is the definition of a "purist sports car"?
Considering some opinions that the new F80 Series M3/4 is now a turbo’d car, would the same now apply to base model 911’s as they have turbocharged engines? Or would it apply to something with electric power steering too? What do you guys think?

If anything modern it’s the mx5 ND. No mode changing, just driving pleasure
Old car?
A car that relies solely on the driver. The driver must be capable of what the machine can do and know control and feel, also knowing their limits. Most sports cars are desensitized regardless of what they have or what the marketers say. Ex of pure sports cars would be: Miata, Ariel Atom, Caterham, MR2. To me a pure sports car is where you can get in, turn the key, press the right pedal, and be able to drive without some computer beeping on how you drive or whether it should adjust to certain conditions. Power steering and a couple other things like ABS are an exception, even though it’s powered it still gives some minor feedback.
