MX-5 or Civic perhaps. Though they aren’t all JDM.

Honestly, as a first car a Civic would be great. Miatas are pretty small and not as practical, although more fun, and while people will hate on the Civic, it can be tastefully modded and seriously functional. My first car was a 1996 EX Sedan and for what it was, it was a great car

save up however much you plan to spend on a car and look more for what your options are

As long as it hasn-t got 200ish hp combined with rwd your good. Would be a shame if you’d spin out when It rains and wreck your car.

People keep asking these kinds of questions (not just on CT, I mean everywhere,) but they never realize that the answer is in their pocket the whole time.

The one you can afford.

Look at all the things for sale around you, punch in your price range, then pick your favorite.
