fit a sort of modern heater to it? when my dad had his se5a scimitar, he broke the heater bringing it home after buying it, so he took it to a very good mechanic who is a family freind even now (this story is about 20 years old) and asked for it to be fixed. The man put in a saab heater (he breaks them up for a living along with being a mechanic) and charged my dad almost nothing for the job.

Just get a car that suits Your needs, mine heats up in 2-3 min of normal ride and is an old beater.

Your thermistat is stuck in the open position. This is like a $15 fix.

-30 Celsius (-22 fahrenheit) Start the car, Scrape the windows, take my coat off when I get in the car as it is already warm. I drive -77 Dodge Aspen, it was same thing with my -82 Caprice.
No, neither had issues with warming up on warm summer days 38 Celsius (100 fahrenheit)
