Just tested the MR2, it appears to be 5% lower than whatever the speedometer actually reads, the old Micra was 10%.

GPS should be the accurate one, speedometers are usually slightly optimistic so if you’re somebody that does exactly the limit, you’ll never get caught speeding in some petty situation where you’re 1-2 kmh over.

265 KM/h reads 258 on gps so it’s pretty accurate

If you ever plug in a OBD (On Board Diagnostics) chip like the ELM 327 it tells you your actual speed which from experience was about 2-3 slower than what the speedometer read
