e36 coupe vs compact
I am just wondering what do you guys think and which would you prefer given the choice of getting one. I am aware of the differences and to be honest - I like the e36 coupe styling better, however I like the way the compact drives a lot more. I must also clarify that I’m talking about the 16v 4 pots here (m42/m44). Any input would be appreciated.

depends, 99% e36 for sale are in poor condition, get the one with less problems
I think the coupé is better.
For me would be the E36 coupe simply because I miss one since my dad sold his a long time ago. And also, the compact has the older suspension design that the E30 had and the E36 has the newer design. As a base car for tuning, the coupe is better,
