No idea. But, there is an old saying “if you have to ask you probably can’t afford it”

Might not be applicable if you can afford a Lambo

I know, but it IS interesting to at least think of the possibilities. Ya know like when all the buddies get together, have a drink, and all come up with whacky ideas on how to do impossible things. ;-)

that would ruin the car….a human cannot shift as fast as the transmission on an Aventador….yeah i understand some people love to drive only manual and if that’s the case the Aventador is the wrong car for you….maybe get a Murcielago if you want a Lamborghini with a manual transmission

I am very curious because back in the old days when Lambos were only manuals, the rich would spend x amount in getting their Diablo converted to automatic.

Eventually there will be that rich car guy that WILL insist on having a manual Aventador.

you would probably have to design a completely new gearbox or at least the internals. And that stuff runs in the millions, so it’s really not worth it

Ok so in reference to this example:

www.bornrich.com/kobe-bryant.html

With the estimated cost of converting the Murcielago to auto was $400k, then they obviosly didnt design an automatic transmission from scratch. This was probably designing their equivalent of a bellsousing and everything under the engine to an existing auto of some type, creating the driveshafts, etc.

So then I would think that perhaps a better more “possible” plan would be to get the Murcielago manual and retrofit it to an Aventador.
