Bedliner all the Things! A Cheap and Effective way for new Paint on an old car.
So, as most of you may know, I own an old Ram. And one of the downsides to owning an old vehicle is you’re not always quite sure how well the previous owner took care of it. Such is the case with the paint on my Ram. Thing is, I don’t exactly have a lot of money and I knew I didn’t want to leave the paint as is, it’s chipping badly and I don’t want body rust to become a big issue. So I’m going to progressively paint one part of the vehicle at a time, starting with the bumpers in Rust-Oleum Truck Bed coating.
Anyway, the reason I chose this material is , for one, it has a nice textured finish that blocks rust, is grippy and will hold onto surfaces well. Second, it’s black and looks absolutely badass on an old Ram. Third, the bang for your buck and value is unbeatable. 20 dollars did the front bumper, grille, and rear bumper. 20 dollars!
So guys, a tip from me especially if you have an off-roader or a daily just needing some new paint; consider bedliner.
- Its cheap and effective
- Black looks fantastic
- Grippy, textured finish
- It will bring some life into your old or worn out vehicle.
- Can be bought in almost any auto parts store or hardware store, wide availability
- I’ve seen other colors if black is not your thing
- Paint will last a long time.
So thanks for taking the time to read my post, and good luck to whatever you decide to paint your vehicle in!
