Muscle cars can’t what?

Well they can, only most American cars from that era couldn’t do it that good. The roadgoing version would never be able to do this as they weren’t made for this purpose.

Purpose built for racing has nothing to do with stock muscle cars and drag built muscle cars.

I just drove a road 1965 mustang yesterday and I can say it was a handful, to make a simple left turn at a stoplight took almost 2 complete turns of the wheel and 2 lanes 😂

Crazy that it’s actually overtaking modern cars like the Cayman

It’s the only practical way to do it. If they held a separate race for every class of car there would be way too many races to be practical.

Run an upspecced racer with considerable price markup not to mention unknown mods over the standard (considerable) Shelby mods in the hands of someone that is clearly a very good driver in that pack to demonstrate how all muscle cars are true handling masterpieces. Seems legit! And all along that guy is just having a blast doing what he loves in one of motorsports heavy hitters acknowledged by everyone.

That moment when a Mustang overtakes a Ferrari 360 Challenge, you know it’s not an ordinary muscle car. LOL
