Tire Stickers: What They Are And How You Use Them

So what are Tire Stickers?

Tire Stickers is the company behind those awesome tire lettering kits that you’ve probably seen on the side of cars both at the track and on the road. They are produced in either short-term or long-term applications and come in the form of a curved decal with a transfer film so that you don’t have to spend time spacing out the letters at all.

The letters can either come with factory lettering such as ‘Toyo Tires’ or ‘Falken’, which will give your OEM tire more visual impact. However, if you want to make sure that you stand out from the crowd even more, you can go completely custom and have lettering that says whatever you want, to have truly bespoke style.

If you don’t like the idea of applying the lettering yourself, we also offer the ability to supply you with pre-lettered tires that will arrive at your door all stickered up and looking pretty!

Short-term or long-term?

Many of our customers ask us whether they should go for the short-term kit or the longer lasting application. Hopefully, the following will clear up any questions you have, and will allow you to make an easier decision.

Short-term

The short-term package is ideal for anyone looking to improve their car for an upcoming track day or car show, and will last between 150 miles on the track, and 1000 miles under normal driving conditions. With dozens of different colours available, you can go crazy with what you do to your tires. The application process is as simple as peeling the stickers off their backing paper and sticking them to your tire. In around one minute, you can have them fitted and ready to go!

The price for these short-term applications is between $24.99 and $39.99, so you won’t have to break the bank to get them on your car. To take a look at the short-term Tire Stickers, head to our configurator right here.

Long-term

The longer lasting Tire Stickers are for those looking to stand out all year round, as this application will last the lifetime of the tire! The secret to this longer lasting product is that it’s raised rubber that is added to the existing tire with durable and long lasting adhesive. This allows you to clean the decals without any deterioration even after 40,000 miles of intense driving. With the ability to choose custom lettering, as well as from colours including white, yellow, red and neon green, you still get the ability to customise on top of the added durability.

To fit the raised rubber product, we’ll give you a complete application kit so that you can fit it perfectly the first time. Installation takes around an hour for a set, but after that, the product will be complete for the life of the tire.

Prices for the raised rubber kits are between $59.99 and $109.99, which is amazing value considering it’ll last until your tyres need replacing. To check out what your raised rubber kit could look like, head to our site here and have a browse of the different options.

Motorcycles or bicycles have much less oil content than automotive tires and the durability will last longer. Unfortunately, you are limited on what you can do with a paint pen in terms of designs unless you have a skill for artwork. Our product will last, on any vehicle and allows you to customize any design!

Why should i choose the sticker ower a tyre pen? What are the advantages? (for long term use)

Paint pens are commonly used for short term coloring of the sidewall. Unfortunately, nearly all paint pens fail due to mold release agents from the tire causing discoloration. The poor quality paint pens will chip and flake off as well. Further, paint pens or ‘tire printers’ only allow you to color in the existing lettering on the sidewall unless you have a skill for art to create your own designs. Tire Stickers enable you to easily apply any design, in a shorter amount of time and for a long lasting durability. There is nothing more durable than our permanent solution on the market!

So, $24.99 and $39.99 for a set of stickers that lasts less than 24 hours, when you can simply paint it with a sharpie or some kind of spray for $5.00, and have that decent faded look as you drive it?

Nice. Good business…

If you read the details of the durability, the product actually stays on forever it will not ‘fall off’. The durability is ~1000 miles and will discolor when ready to remove.

When the product is on P1 and Bugatti’s, tough to brand as ‘rice’!

Short term is great for advertising or just to try out the look before choosing something permanent. People use the product for track days when they burn up the tires or for charity races as well!

I love this product (even tho I don’t have it because no car, but it’s definitely really cool). But the real question is, if I have this on my tyre and I go for extreme off roading like going through mud and water and the dunes, will these stay on?

Our products are used in King of the Hammers and other off-road applications so the durability is truly permanent!
