Quarry Hooning In A Lamborghini LM002 Looks Like Tremendous Fun

The Lamborghini Urus is sure to be a big success for the company. By the end of next year, the SUV is expected to account for around half of all the brand’s sales, bringing in thousands of Lambo newbies in the process.

Its kinda/sorta predecessor, on the other hand, was not so much of a success. The LM002 was the spawn of a rear-engined prototype military vehicle that no one wanted, and just 328 were sold. By pretty much any way you measure it - from the alarming driving dynamics to the absurd thirst for fuel - it’s the worst vehicle Lamborghini ever made.

But it’s also the most unique, the silliest and the brashest. And all of these things are key Lamborghini qualities. It should come as no surprise that it looks like amazing fun to skid around a quarry in, as demonstrated here by Top Gear.

There’ll never be another car like it, and that’s what makes it a legend.
