Currently at tuning company Litchfield Imports with the goal of improving the BRZ's handling characteristics.

I’m starting with Litchfield’s Handling Pack which includes Eibach springs and custom front and rear adjustable anti-roll bars. I was tempted to go for coilovers but I want to retain OEM levels of ride quality.

I’m starting with Litchfield’s Handling Pack which includes Eibach springs and custom front and rear adjustable anti-roll bars. I was tempted to go for coilovers but I want to retain OEM levels of ride quality.

And from the advice given yesterday, I’m also happy to report that a new set of wheels and tyres are on the way (I’m going to keep my choice under wraps until they’re fitted.)

These modifications should transform the handling. Watch out for a full write up and review very soon.

So, with the chassis almost sorted, what do you guys think we should tackle next? Let me know in the comments below.

Brakes. They start to fade when you push a bit even on back roads. Even better brake pads help, which is what I did

True, with some extra ponies under the hood a great brake should be very handy

I would agree with brake upgrades, in the alps last year in my GT86 we pushed the car so hard the brakes were almost on fire, they were smoking and fading badly by the time we got to the bottom of one of the alpine passes in Austria!

Good times though!

They’re great guys and build beautifully rounded cars. Recommend.

It doesn’t really matter what kind of tires you have as long as they aren’t from a Prius

I think they are good for certain aspects. First, the road noise isn’t as bad as a high performance tire. Second, they are cheap so when they are finished, they do not cost that much money to replace. They are by no means good tires and I heard that ABS will kick in fairly easily with those on, but they are the perfect tire to beat on.

Looking forward to seeing what tyres you ordered and what difference they make

A UEL header would sort out the notorious torque dip and give a significant bump in power if paired with a tune.

Did you talk to them about the problem with the car pulling to the side?
