Currently at tuning company Litchfield Imports with the goal of improving the BRZ's handling characteristics.

I’m starting with Litchfield’s Handling Pack which includes Eibach springs and custom front and rear adjustable anti-roll bars. I was tempted to go for coilovers but I want to retain OEM levels of ride quality.

I’m starting with Litchfield’s Handling Pack which includes Eibach springs and custom front and rear adjustable anti-roll bars. I was tempted to go for coilovers but I want to retain OEM levels of ride quality.

And from the advice given yesterday, I’m also happy to report that a new set of wheels and tyres are on the way (I’m going to keep my choice under wraps until they’re fitted.)

These modifications should transform the handling. Watch out for a full write up and review very soon.

So, with the chassis almost sorted, what do you guys think we should tackle next? Let me know in the comments below.

Brakes next, then some chassis stiffening (front strut bar, rear strut bar, sway bars, all the bars!) Then consider supercharger 😉

Rear seat its pretty much useless in those car get rid of it add a roll cage
You should super charge it and borla headers and high flow cat and exhaust wider tires with proper fitment a good clutch good to go in my opinion

Maybe you should do coilovers for the adjustable ride heigth plus lowering springs mess up your shock travels nothing too crazy but enough to take into consideration

If you’re focusing on handling then my recommendations:

Suspension
-Front Strut Brace
-Rear Strut Brace (If you’re willing to sacrifice some boot space)

Brakes
-Braided brake lines
-Brake booster stopper (Prevents the firewall around the brake booster from flexing = More confidence in brakes)
-Uprated discs and pads
-DOT 5.1 brake fluid (Don’t want your brake fluid from boiling during hard driving)

Weight Reduction
-Remove rear seats (from what I understand the rear seats in the GT-86/FR-S/BR-Z are virtually useless so you may as well remove them and reduce the weight)

Isn’t DOT 5 brake fluid silicone based and should not be used in abs applications ? It aerates pretty easily.

Eibachs are a different color over there I guess. How much of a drop is it? My Pro Kits are around an inch front and rear.
