9 Reasons We Hope Apple Doesn't Buy McLaren
This week, it was rumoured that Apple was in talks with McLaren about a possible takeover. The reports were soon quashed by McLaren itself, and while that doesn’t rule out the possibility entirely, it’s probably best it doesn’t happen. After all, who knows what sort of ‘innovations’ Apple might bring to the McLaren stable given the chance.

Because having it in an easy-to-reach area is just too mainstream. Also, you’d only be allowed to use official Apple fuel pumps. And they’ll change the nozzle every couple of years, so you’ll have to buy an adapter.

We have to use Siri to get in the car!
This is all jokes and all, but a McLaren takeover would be post-colonialism. Engineers would be sapped from the company to work on Apple’s own projects, along with some of their revenues
And it would mainly to avoid the taxes.. Like 15-30billions they owe..

Maybe to unlock the car you have to try your fingerprint 15 times before it asks you for a passcode, and then when you mess it up your P1 is disabled until you connect it to iTunes
Only if you lock it, a fingerprint is fine. But if you turn it off then you have to enter your Apple ID - but only while connected to WiFi and refueling at the same time.
If you don’t do this, it’ll take a picture of you and the license plate number will be sent to the US government.
Poor them if they have put on “Delete my Car” after 10 failed attempts…
And the first 12C actually had something similar: touch door handles.
