Watch This Lamborghini Gallardo Not Give A Damn About Massive Flood Water

The benefits of having a mid-engined supercar are clear: great weight distribution, better traction at the rear and the ability to drive through massive flood water without killing the engine. Wait, what?

Still a terrible idea. I did something similar in my Smart a few months ago and got water in the side air intake. It just about ruined my engine.

Just remember that Lamborghini used to make tractors and other heavy machinery. Do not mess with the bull.

Back when I was 9 or 10, my dad tried to drive his old Chevy S10 through around a foot of water. What he didn’t know was that the road below the water was washed away, so it was really more like 3 feet deep. The car stayed on the surface for a moment, and the wheels spun under the water as he hammered down the throttle all the way in 1st gear. This drew so much water into the engine compartment that it got into the cab from a gap behind the glovebox. I loved that truck so much even though it was just a little piece of crap, and I’ll never forget the day we accidentally drowned it.
