Some amazing footage has been seen on the famous video uploading website since it went live in 2005. YouTube contains a vast library of clips ranging from front-line breaking news videos such as natural disasters or serious crime to the most ridiculous content such as a drunk guy being catapulted over a pool by a homemade human slingshot or a cat singing. There are loads of car videos up there too, including those from Car Throttle's YouTube Channel. You could watch someone set a lap time around the Nurburgring or you could watch an 'up close and personal' tour of luxury motors and supercars.
Here are 5 YouTube videos I came across that show it is possible for anyone to drive a high performance car nowadays whether they are 5 or 75. First up is the luckiest 11 year old boy in the universe. In a field somewhere in the UK, KartKid007 got the chance to take this Audi R8 for a spin, literally!
I would be delighted if I had the opportunity to do this when I was 11 but this kid doesn't seem that bothered. Next up at the other end of the scale is another Audi R8, this time it's one driven by the owner, a 75 year old woman.
There you go grannies, if you're looking for a new car don't get a Nissan Tiida. This pensioner says you're better off with a R8. If you thought 11 years old was young enough for driving a supercar, think again! Here's a 5 year old taking a Nissan GT-R for a run.
Cheeky little... person. Believe it or not it's actually fake. If it were real I reckon the car would be in a ditch or the kid would have stalled it. Bonus points are awarded if you spot a man behind the wheel at one point in the video.
This is probably fake as well since it's an advert but it is quite funny. Gran here must have got bored and fancied borrowing the guy's BMW for a little bit. Gran was delighted but the guy was furious.
And finally, here is the youngest motoring presenter so far. Here is 8 year old JJ telling us what it is like to be passenger in a Porsche and a Lamborghini.
JJ, if you're reading this you're hired!
