Spyker To Sell Cars in Saab Dealerships

Saab and Spyker - the more you think about it, the two seem to complement each other well. It still is as bizzare of a purchase as ever, but they both have an aviation history and are quirky, different brands in their categories. They are two of our favorite companies. The C8 Aileron is one of this writer's favorite vehicles.

Just not too long ago, Spyker's future (like Saab's) was uncertain, but now they are in the limelight.  Spyker has made efforts before the Saab purchase to sell vehicles in the United States market, and the Saab purchase is helping those efforts.

Speaking with Automotive News, Spyker CEO Victor Muller said that “We are signing up Spyker dealerships left, right and center...it's wonderful that the company that saved Saab is also benefiting from having done that in its own business.” Indeed! We could see Spyker sales getting a significant increase this year from all the attention.

Spyker says they are pairing certain Saab dealers with Spyker, and that it is opening up whole new opportunities by increasing awareness for the brand. Last year, Spyker sold 36 cars with 35 dealerships - about one per dealer. Hopefully that number sees a significant rise. We just really want this partnership to work out.
