How much difference can 70 years make in a city? In Los Angeles at least, quite a lot - in this cool, well-synced video from The New Yorker, much of the modern city’s Bunker Hill area is shown to be completely unrecognisable when compared to its 1940s self.

Well, it’s not that unrecognisable. 1940s Berlin, 1940s London and 1940s Moscow looked more different than today.
