Yoichi Imamura just finished a Lexus LFA for the D1 GP Drifting Championship, and it's going to be powered by a Toyota TRD Nascar V8 Engine ! http://www.wreckedmagazine.com/blog/2015/01/12/imamura-shows-off-his-lexus-lfa-set-for-d1gp/
Why not use the V10 that you usually get when buying a LFA?
Because there hasn’t been a single tuned LFA V10 so far, as far as I know, most likely due to the fact that they only made 500 of them and their price. The TRD V8 Twin-Turbo that he will be running has already been tuned by some people meaning they have the knowledge to work with it.
Can I have the old V10?
I don’t think it’s right to use the LFA as a base drift car unless it’s a replica.
Agreed. Then again, this is the most expensive drift car ever created.
