The horror part of this post is not removing the turbos without moving the engine, its removing the trubos to begin with.
Getting the engine out is horrible then getting the turbos off the engine is even worse! Im fearing putting mine back together
Now you can put bigger turbos
I never understood how Nissan fit two turbos in the engine bay, its stupid small, I wonder if they made the engine bay a bit bigger in the TT because in my N/A I don’t think it would fit!
Same bay size! The turbo manifolds put the turbos on the lower sides of the engine. It’s a tight fit though!
How long/hard would it be to make it this clean?
Everything under the fenders? that would take forever looks like they built a box around the brake booster. Not something id wanna try
Im up for the challenge. Thats peanuts compared to the value of the time put in working on THE BEST Nissan ever made, period. This is my opinion. Now, I’ve never personally worked on one, but my rage-like affection towards this vehicle would shine through every day if I owned one.
Haha famous last words!^^
As an owner of a 300zx, trust me, there is like zero room to work. And the way it’s setup, you pretty much either have to pull the upper intake or radiator or both to do anything.
Just remove everything around the engine, but not the engine itself
