Hot hatch thread: CIVIC EP3 TYPE R VS. CLIO 3 SPORT. They are so similar: both are manual, both have a 2000cc engine, both have 200hp. What do you guys think is the best choice?
Personnaly i prefer the type r for the looks of it
Renault, his engine is so good. And at high rev sounds great.
Type R, because it’s a lot more reliable than a Ren(f)ault.
Type R all the way
Civic because more aftermarket parts available and the engine responds better to modifications!
Clio
I think the Clio looks better and it’s more modern, but the Civic won’t fall apart after 200.000 km, it’s marginally bigger (more practical) and a lot better built. Huge aftermarket support too. But… I’d have to drive both to make a decision
My mum used to have a clio of the same generation. i loved it but the interior and build quality was awful. go for the civic i say.
I would choose the EP3, more reliable, more aftermarket parts, and for me, it looks way better than the Renault. Also, VTAAAAAAAAAAK!
