Anybody here play Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5 or any other racing games at your local arcade center? I got a story to tell…

Today I went to an arcade center to play. So I bought a handful of tokens and go to the racing game section. Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 5 is the game I mostly play on arcades. This game allows you to tune and personalize your car. This cars can reach 800 hp and can be riced as hell.

So I hop on to the machine, I adjusted my seats based on my preferences and these 3 guys on the other 3 machines are doing some sort of battle. I’m thinking like “what chaos can I cause to these guys”. I don’t have the card which I can save my data on so I will be battling them stock. Thankfully they’re running stock cars too.

Without any permission I joined the battle creating a 4 way battle between me, a complete stranger, against 3 guys that seems to be friends. So I chose my car, A C6 Corvette ZR1 with an in game horsepower of 300 hp to make it fair with all the cars.

So the battle went on. On the First game, totally destroyed them. As we go along the game, a small crowd is forming, watching us race. Then these 3 decide to make the battle from free for all to 3 v 1, naturally against me, and I’m like “gonna be serious now”. They did everything from blocking me to hitting me while drifting the corner, and I still destroyed them. It was fun for all of us but then these guys decided to make the race even more unfair. Remember that you can tune your cars? Yes, they have those cards and I don’t. But I didn’t care. I still battle them even though I’m gonna lose. They used their 600hp Camaro, 700hp R34, and 800hp Evo against me and I’m just laughing. Surely I’m losing but the lead isn’t that much because they slide everywhere, hitting walls and traffic.

That game was fun as hell. An arcade game with a stick shifter on the side is one of the most fun I ever had.

Yooo I’m a regular player at my local arcades in Jakarta, Indonesia. I ised to drive a dark metallic orange Ruf CTR, but noe I drive an atlantic green Toyota 2000GT. I have a story to tell also.

Right now I’m not at home, I’m at dad’s army home in Aceh, visiting. I went to the local mall and found a machine there. I saw a guy challenging crowns with a Vette C6, refuse VS was on, so I decide to try my hand at the crowns with hakone first. Too damn easy with 400 meters worth of advantage, most likely a horrid cornering, I thought to myself “Holy hell the standards are too low compared to Jakarta, oh and the Vette guy has a few crowns, maybe I’ll try beating him in C1”. And then well that was too easy. He tried to regain his crown after he saw me, and then I saw that…..

He USES AUTO AND his cornering… Needs a bit of work is putting it too mildy, let’s just say. Left behind in the dust. He bolted out of the arcade. So I come back again tomorrow, and then before I knew it the thing in the pic happens. I come back again the next day, and my ghost at Minato Mirai, Wangan, and Yokohama are defeated by the Vette guy, and the course are just straights most of it. I defeated him again easy. And I come back again tomorrow, and well… I still held the crown. Until now.
