This Big-Winged Audi S1 Is Set To Take Rallycross By Storm

This is the Audi S1 EKS RX Concept that Mattias Ekstrom is hoping will take him to victory in the 2014 FIA World Rallycross Championship.

Team EKS is hoping to channel Audi's historic rally domination with a 600bhp 2.0-litre engine powering all four wheels. Acceleration is mid-bogglingly quick - 0-60mph takes 1.9sec.

Alongside Ekstrom will be some other huge names like Tanner Foust, Ken Block and Jacques Villeneuve. These motorsport legends will be driving an array of powerful machinery, including rally-prepped versions of the Citroen DS3, Ford Fiesta ST and Peugeot 208.

The season starts 3rd-4th May in Portugal, however the EKS S1 is expected to debut at the British round later next month.
