The
Hennessey Venom GT is a rocketship on wheels. It holds speed records, sounds like the Devil and demands its owner has a massive bank balance. Speaking of which, this new Venom is up for sale on 'luxury marketplace'
JamesEdition for a whopping $1.2m (£715k).

So what are you getting for your cash? Well, loosely based on a stretched Lotus Elise, the GT is powered by a massive 7.0-litre twin-turbo V8. 1244bhp spins through the rear wheels to frankly
ridiculous speeds - it holds the Guinness World Record for 0-300 km/h (186 mph) acceleration: 13.63 seconds. With a long enough stretch of road (and balls bigger than your bank balance) you could hit 270mph.

If you've got a spare $1.2m floating about we can't think of a more mental (and awesome) way to blow it. Just make sure you renew your life insurance first!
