My new Mercedes E420 CDI

The university life is behind me, got my degree, got a job selling cars, moved to a larger apartment with my girlfriend and after doing boring adult stuff like replacing furniture and buying appliances and being away from carthrottle for over a year, I also managed to save enough money to finally buy my dream car…

A 2007 Mercedes E420 CDI with an AMG-package, Airmatic, Bi-xenon, full spec, heated/ cooled, memory, electric seats with massage function, Harman Kardon Logic 7, NTG1 with tv, CD changer, radar cruise control, three zone climate control, the works…

Can’t leave her stock, so I gutted the DPF, got an AMG-exhaust system and an ECU-remap.
She now makes a whopping 400hp and 870Nm. Removed the 250kmh limiter. Blacked out all windows, swapped standard headlight xenon bulbs for 6000k ones and swapped the standard fog light bulbs for 6000k xenon ones for that cool, aggressive look.

My next mod is gonna be a lip spoiler and a new head unit, cause the NTG1 has not aged well…
So I’m gonna install a Dynavin N7 MBE unit. Got a Dynavin in my C-class and am very happy with it, so my E-class is gonna get one too. Dynavin head units look very similar to the NTG1, have the same Mercedes orange lighting in the dark, come with digital radio, tv, USB ports and a SD-card slot.
A 32GB card would fit all of my music.

And the best part of it are the voice commands… They work just as good as Mercedes’s Linguatronic. Meaning - total disobedience! You’d say “Radio” and it shows the map. And I love that! I can argue with my own car.

I’ve always loved the W211… The regular E-classes are a bit tame. They look good, but with the AMG-package, they look amazing!
It’s the perfect blend of style, elegance, luxury and aggression .
The angry look the front bumper has is just gorgeous. And with quad pipes in the back… I am a man in love.

Also AMG-styled E-class diesels are very rare. Most diesel owners just want a economical, comfortable, reliable car and are not interested in making it look sporty. So even the E320 and E420 rarely get the AMG styling. Especially in Bulgaria, where most W211 are either E200s, or E220s… so mine does stand out.
