Having broken the world record for the quickest NHRA Funny Car quarter-mile not much over a week previous, Jack Beckman beat his own benchmark at last weekend's NHRA round in Seattle
We were hugely impressed by Beckman’s 3.921 second, 333mph quarter-mile mile at Sonoma Raceway on 31 July, but the 49-year-old has already gone quicker. At last weekend’s NHRA Northwest Nationals in Seattle, he shaved that down to 3.912 seconds. Impressive, no?
