GM's Recall Catastrophe Has Reached New Lows After It's Recalled A Recall
Amid the shocking run of recalls at General Motors, the 2014 Cadillac CTS was recalled by mistake
With millions of cars recalled in 2014 so far, you’d think GM’s recall mess couldn’t get much more embarrassing. But you’d be wrong, as GM has actually been forced to recall a recall. Autoblog reports that the third-generation Cadillac CTS saloon was recalled along with the second-generation-based CTS coupe and wagon due to a faulty ignition switch, the same issue which has been at the centre of many GM recalls this year. However, the third-generation CTS doesn’t use the faulty part, so GM has clarified that it won’t be part of the recall, exposing another colossal blunder from the deeply troubled company.
